Well, this past week our house was robbed! It wasn't broke into once, but twice! And the second time someone HAD to have a key to the backdoor. You can only get in and out with a KEY! We had some valuables stolen, feelings of insecurity accured, and a whole lot of STRESS! The girls were up every night that week with croupy coughs, PJ had 2-3 tests, I had Parent Teacher conferences, and on top of it- we get robbed twice!
I am more than grateful that we are all safe and blessed to have family close to come change the locks when PJ is in Stillwater until late at night and for co-workers who love to have a few little ones amuse them for a few hours.
A few have suggested that we get a gun... a whole lot of good that would have done me if the intruder found it and we walked in on him! I do not think guns are the answer nor pepper spray that the girls could get their hands on. However, we have been considering a puppy. At first we wanted something that would be good with the girls but very intimidating to anyone who dared come our way.... but a BIG dog with little girls didn't feel quite right. We hope a dog barking will scare away any intruder who dares to strike again. Thus, we have decided on a Puggle.
